Kerrang! radio website redesign
Platforms: Online
PROJECT DETAILS: Redesign and consultancy
Kerrang Website
Towards the end of 2005 we worked with Kerrang! on a consultancy basis to offer ideas and strategy for the future of their online radio stations [a local and national service].

Following our discussions, Kerrang! came up with a vision for the future of their brand, online, and a bold and innovative new site architecture. In April 2006 we were commissioned to redesign the site based on that vision. The project was scoped, designed and delivered in under three weeks, to the clients' complete satisfaction. We think it's pretty good too.

DESIGNS: The redesign was directed by Jo Roach and designed by Tony Sephton. The site was built by Mediaspan Online Services, and administered via their CMS software.

Terry Wogan brodcasting from Athens

PROJECT DETAILS: Eurovision is the greatest annual online traffic driver for BBC Radio 2. It's also one of the most popular entertainment sites that the BBC has, so we were very pleased to be asked to produce the site for a third year running.

This year we ramped up online coverage in two ways - by producing content on location with the TV crew in Athens, and also by producing bespoke content which better served the mobile audience on the Eurovision WAP site. The site featured written and video content from location, broadband content from each of the 37 entering countries, plus in-depth coverage of Terry Wogan, Paddy O'Connell and Daz Sampson in Athens. We also created an interactive online Bingo game and lots of fun content which allowed online users to interact with the shows.

The news area of the site was RSS-enabled which allowed users to subscribe for the latest news, diary entries and pictures form Athens.

The site was produced by a content producer [Jo Roach], and content assistant [Clare Kneeshaw].

Claire Sturgess podcasting and website
Platform: Online at www.clairesturgess.com

Claire Sturgess PROJECT DETAILS: Claire Sturgess broadcasts on Xfm London. She recently moved from a weekday evening slot, on which she showcased new music, to a more mainstream slot on the weekend and so decided that she wanted to launch a podcast to continue her work with new artists and breaking new music.

We set up Claire's new Future's podcast, and also created a very basic 3 page website hub where users can subscribe, check out tracklistings and contact Claire for more information. We took the brief and delivered what Claire needed within a week. Claire was very happy with the end result and in future may develop the website further.
